SLIM（Smart Lander for Investigating Moon）project is a mission to establish the pinpoint landing method on the moon by small unmanned spacecraft.
Many researcher proceed with SLIM project as working group of ISAS (Institute of Space Astronautical Science).
Takadama Lab handles image navigation technology that spacecraft estimates the current location using crater map and camera shot image.
・The spacecraft current location estimation algorithm using Genetic Algorithm(GA)
Spacecraft need to estimate the its current location estimation using camera shot image on the moon in real-time during descent.
In particular, spacecraft must estimate that within few seconds after shooting.
To tackle this problem, we proposed ETSM (Evolutionary Triangle Similarity Matching) that be able to estimates the spacecraft current location in high-speed using GA.
